Ciklum on behalf of DRL Limited is offering you an opportunity to join us as a Testing Engineer!

What’s the Testing Engineer role all about?

As a Testing Engineer at DRL, you’ll help us to push the boundaries of the possible. We don’t want you to have to find the same bugs over and over again so we’re investing in practices like TDD/BDD to automate as much of the mundane as possible, leaving you more time to explore the edges of our systems and find the really interesting problems.

What will be my Responsibilities?

We want you to help us become industry-leading in our test practices.

If you think you have what it takes to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with a great team, committed to delivering absolute quality to our customers, then we want to hear from you.

What Skills do I NEED to have?

· Demonstrable experience in testing techniques such as:

o Exploratory testing

o Test Automation

o Performance testing

o Manual testing

o Good technical skills demonstrated by experience of automated test tools such as:

o Selenium/WatiN/RSpec (other Cucumber-based test specification products will be welcome)

o Good programming skills are a massive bonus in C# or Ruby (or similar) for the purpose of test automation

o To be comfortable with SQL, web services and XML and delving round in configuration files

Any experience of load testing and performance analysis/testing will be very interesting

To be hungry for perpetual learning, participating in community events, workshops etc.

To collaborate with people from across our business to ensure that our software works for our customers
